Position Name: Budget Co-Ordinator - EK Central.
Department: EKX TCP.
Qualification: B.
Mechanical / Automotive Engineering and MBA.
Years of Experience: 12-16 years.
Purpose of the Position:
- To lead financial planning, investment control, resource forecasting, and audit readiness for EK IN.
- This role ensures that all budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and reporting processes align with strategic and operational goals while coordinating across EK IN, MB, and corporate forums.
Authority:
- Act as the finance and resource coordination lead for EK IN, supporting strategic decisions and managing daily operational execution of budgets, audits, and capacity planning.
- Lead consolidation of EK IN inputs for Strategic and Operational Planning (S&OP), budgeting rounds, and financial reporting.
- Align headcount, SGK/overhead, DLV income, and investment planning with EK MB, Procurement, and Controlling; escalate deviations or conflicts for senior management input.
- Oversee RFQ, SC, and PO processes for EK-related investments; approve shopping carts and support calendarization within delegated limits.
- Represent EK IN in budget and audit forums, guide internal teams on audit compliance, and track supplier cost adjustments.
- Manage planning documentation for forums such as IIC, ITSC, and support resource/capacity allocation discussions in EK steering meetings.
Skills Required:
Critical, Technical & Behavioral Skills:
- Understanding of corporate budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Budgeting tools and cost tracking (SGK, overhead, DLV income, GL codes).
- Procurement and investment lifecycle (SC, RFQ, PO, IIC, ITSC).
- Financial reporting, variance analysis, and calendarization.
- Capacity/resource planning, headcount forecasting.
- Knowledge of audit frameworks (QMS, ISMS, EMS, EnMS, OHSAS).
- Stakeholder coordination across EK MB, VP-E, EX IN, and corporate functions.
- Internal team communication, policy guidance, and compliance tracking.
- Presentation and documentation skills for planning forums.
- Proactive risk identification and escalation in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities &Tasks:
- Lead EK financial planning for Strategic & Operational rounds; consolidate inputs across sections.
- Align budgets for headcount, SGK/overhead, GL codes, projects, and external resources.
- Track and forecast DLV income; prepare, approve, and monitor EK IN-specific budgets.
- Manage investment planning for IIC/ITSC; oversee SC, RFQ, PO execution and documentation.
- Control project/set-level budgets; approve shopping carts and manage budget calendarization.
- Forecast and track invoices, support Model Care and supplier budget changes.
- Represent EK IN in budget forums (VP-E, SK MB, EX IN); lead audits (QMS, ISMS, EMS, EnMS, OHSAS).
- Participate in EK IN capacity/resource planning; contribute to steering forums like FSK, IIC, ITSC.
