Role Overview:

As the Finance Manager at Skit.ai, you will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the financial health and sustainable growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.

- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances against budget.

- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, such as new product launches and market expansion.

- Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs and investment opportunities.

- Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

- Conduct cost accounting analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support informed decision-making.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.

- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).

- Experience in managing cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.

- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and experience in identifying cost-saving opportunities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to both finance and non-finance audiences.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

- 8-12 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
