Opportunity Highlights:

- Support customers requests to integrate their proprietary skill taxonomies and map our skill data accordingly.

- Research external trends and analyze customer data to identify emerging skills for inclusion in the taxonomy.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create a comprehensive and relevant skill taxonomy

- Manage and update the skill taxonomy in the digital learning platform

- Use digital learning activity reports to assess and improve the effectiveness of the taxonomy

- Work with a user-friendly digital platform and comprehensive reporting tools

- Receive ongoing support and training to stay updated with any enhancements or changes in the digital learning platform

- Collaborate with management and other product owners to build a comprehensive product strategy

- Actively manage and maintain the product roadmap and backlog of user stories

- Research, document and drive changes to products including new features, minor enhancements, and defects

- Participate in an Agile process with Engineering and QA to manage and groom the backlog of work, refine requirements, estimate work effort and plan day-to-day product development activities

- Assist in conducting market research and analysis of competitive landscape

- Contribute to and review product release notes, user manuals and training material

- Work with cross-functional teams to help develop and implement a go-to-market plan

- Support product release activities including release planning, product training, demonstrations, and customer presentations

- Provide on-going product support to direct sales and channel sales organizations helping them to understand product positioning and key benefits

Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Product Management

- Experience in curricula development and internal stakeholder management

- Adaptable and able to modify and update the taxonomy based on organizational needs

- Experience with 3rd party integrations and system automation

- Meticulous and highly analytical

- Comfortable with technology and navigating digital learning platforms

- Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

- Ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment

- Strong organization skills

- Technical background with understanding software development and web technologies

- Experience working in an Agile software development environment (ideally the SAFe Agile Framework)

- Domain expertise including Web-based Learning and/or Training Business is desired

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence or other Agile software development tools is desired

- Experience working with virtual teams is desired
