Position Title: Territory Manager - IM Seals
Location - Gurgaon
Reporting To - Distribution Manager - Industrial Seals
Role Type:
Individual Contributor
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets through the distribution network within the defined territory and segment.
- Manage, coach, and develop existing distributors by assisting them in creating and executing growth plans.
- Identify and onboard new distributors and market platforms to expand network coverage.
- Drive sales growth by promoting new product launches, category expansions, and special sales schemes.
- Ensure distributor compliance with SKF policies, branding guidelines, and business standards.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain healthy account receivables and ensure timely collections.
Key Performance Metrics:
- Revenue and profitability achievement
- Distribution network expansion (numeric and weighted retailer count)
- Product/category mix and adoption of new offerings
- Account receivables and credit control
Required Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding
- Effective territory management
- Sound domain knowledge of industrial products and segments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Education & Experience:
- MBA (preferred)
- 5-8 years of experience in industrial distribution sales
- Prior experience in industrial products such as seals, bearings, or allied engineering products is desirable
