The role requires strong experience in large-scale process plants (hydrogen production, syngas handling, ammonia synthesis, and carbon capture), The candidate will work closely with EPC teams, licensors, procurement, construction, HSE and senior leadership.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing detailed project schedules; analyzing schedule performance; conducting cost-schedule integration; and driving recovery or acceleration plans where required. This role will also oversee resource planning, risk identification, and mitigation to ensure strong alignment between project cost, timelines, and execution strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling:

- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using tools such as Primavera and established planning processes.

- Create WBS, detailed activity lists, logic, resource/load curves and recovery plans.

- Prepare baseline, revision and look-ahead schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication, pre-assembly, site construction, commissioning and handover.

- Ensure schedules accurately reflect actual work progress, forecast remaining work, and incorporate realistic timelines and dependencies.

Resource Management:

- Plan, allocate, and monitor project resources to ensure optimal utilization and readiness for execution as per the approved plan.

- Highlight resource gaps early and coordinate with relevant teams for timely mobilization.

Schedule Analysis & Reporting:

- Integrate cost and schedule information , identify deviations or delays, and prepare variance analyses.

- Publish timely and accurate schedule updates and inputs for Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs).

- Proactively escalate critical issues and risks to project leadership.

Technical Interface & Constructability:

- Work closely with process licensors (ATR/SMR/Autothermal, PSA, ammonia licensors) and engineering leads to reflect technical constraints and long-lead items in the schedule.

- Ensure constructability review outcomes, heavy-lift and erection sequencing, pre-commissioning and hydrotest activities are properly captured in the plan.

Hydrogen / Ammonia Specific Responsibilities:

- Apply knowledge of hydrogen project risks (high-pressure systems, hydrogen embrittlement, cryogenic storage, compressor packages, vessel testing) and CCS interfaces when preparing schedules and risk mitigations.

- Coordinate with HSE and Mechanical teams for activities requiring permits, safety reviews, HAZID / HAZOP inputs and pre-commissioning safety cases.

Risk Management:

- Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation, recovery, or acceleration plans as needed.
