Job Title: Finance Manager
Department: Finance
Purpose of the Role:
The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory filings, coordinating billing activities, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and revenue reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary to ensure timely completion of ROC-related statutory compliances and maintain the required records and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
- Initiate payments through net banking and support payment-related activities as required.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting principles, statutory requirements, and financial processes.
- Work towards assigned individual goals and ensure activities are completed within defined timelines and deadlines.
- Record financial transactions accurately and perform account reconciliations.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with the Finance team and other departments.
Billing:
- Set up new customer projects in the internal system and ensure all required information is accurately recorded.
- Monitor unbilled projects and coordinate with relevant departments to facilitate timely billing.
- Validate billing data received from the Operations team to ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
- Generate invoices and credit memos and submit them to customers within the required timelines.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all invoicing and billing activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports, along with monthly reports related to revenue and inventory.
- Update and maintain accounting entries accurately in Tally ERP.
Job Requirements:
Skills required:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good computer proficiency with working knowledge of Tally ERP and/or Zoho Books.
- Basic understanding of invoicing, revenue processes, and accounting principles.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong email communication and coordination skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to internal billing software, systems, and processes.
- Willingness to learn and support ROC-related compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to work effectively with defined targets and deadlines.
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts, and/or Billing.
Educational Qualification:
Must:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounts, Corporate Secretaryship, or a related finance discipline.
Additional/Preferred:
- Postgraduate degree in M.Com or any relevant finance-related discipline.
