Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform procurement activities in alignment with the respective GP strategy, based on General Procurement Process, terms and regulations
- Operational Management of all Request for General procurement for the site
- Responsible for building relations with suppliers and identifying new vendors
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Responsible for maintaining relationship with internal stakeholders and Head of functions
- Support on Compliance, Legal & Taxation and Costing, Offset and Industrial Cooperation
- Accountabilities Within the framework of the new Airbus Group India General Procurement (AIPJ) organisation, the jobholder is responsible for the local management for Delhi & NCR covering the Account Management activities as well as the local Fulfilment Management (Operations and Local Sourcing).
- The jobholder supports the local team, with the accountability for:
A. Stakeholder Management
- Act as focal point for middle management and Operations in customer organisations and divisions in Airbus India Pvt.Ltd.
- Lead & Drive the relationship with internal business partners to ensure target level of customer satisfaction for sites/Divisions on behalf of Regional Manager, General Procurement
- Drive & Manage the Procurement team meetings & Internal Customer sourcing meetings
- Deliver procurement market campaign to improve process awareness among internal customers
B. Fulfilment & General Procurement Services
- Manage & Support all Operational, Tactical and Local Sourcing activities for all commodities for the site with support from General procurement in Bengaluru.
- Manage compliant fulfilment process meeting agreed target KPIs and ensure timely payment to the supplier at highest efficiency
- Manage procurement process within a specific business frame up to defined threshold (incl. potential delegation beyond specific thresholds)
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction with respect to fulfilment at operational level
- Manage the local general procurement fulfilment team and manage external service provider operationally

C. Site Operations Support & People Management
- Actively support coordination with the GP team to achieve targets & goals of customer groups at local and site level.
- Closely cooperate with the central teams in achieving benefits of Local Sourcing activities.
- Lead and manage the team in Delhi operationally & functionally
- Manage & Drive the performance of team & business operations for offices in Delhi & NCR as per expectations
D. Compliance
- Site Operations Support & Compliance Programme Support
- Escalate to Regional Manager and compliance team if needed
- Support compliance programme in local site/functional communication
- Position GP and the compliance communication in local site communication
Outputs/Deliverables:
- Meet General Procurement SLA
- Target level of internal customer satisfaction at site level
- Improvement plan according to customer satisfaction survey results
- Effective Operations Management & Governance with team & internal customers
- Effective relationship building and management with main functional and local customers.
- Target KPIs for defined business perimeter concerning fulfilment (Operations and Local Sourcing)
- Effective savings at local level appreciated and supported by customer groups
Functional experience:
- Business experience in Procurement for at least 7 years and maximum 10 years (Procurement, Supply chain or Process Operations)
- Procurement process, Knowledge of supplier base / cost structure & advanced negotiation skills
- Awareness On Applicable Laws (labor, IP, International Trade) Knowledge Of Aerospace/Automotive Industry, Risk Management & Business Case Analysis & TCO Approach Management
- Proven Leadership
