ABOUT THE ROLE As a Program Manager at Simplilearn, you will own the growth and health of one of our government partnerships. You will be the face of the program to the local community, building our brand with potential students, tech education leaders, and potential employers of our students. You will work with our internal teams to ensure an exceptional student experience. Youll be the liaison between Simplilearn leadership, our internal teams, and our government partners. RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will: Launch new programs (25%) - Coordinate all aspects of a new program launch, including but not limited to: marketing, admissions, program structure, and career success - Lead communication with our government partners, including contract negotiation and ongoing reporting responsibilities - For in-person programming, manage the set up for physical space and ensure students and staff will have everything they need when class begins - Document processes and procedures with an eye towards long-term scalability - Train program staff and partners to continue running the program seamlessly before transferring to the next launch Manage daily program operations (25%) - Serve as the primary point of contact for students and own all related communication channels (e.g. Slack, Google groups emails/calendars, LMS) - Resolve student issues (e.g. behavioral, academic, accommodations) and connect with Instructors, Teaching Fellows, and NYC Campus Director, as needed. - Collaborate with Instructors and Academic Operations to design, test, and implement student retention initiatives (e.g. tech panels, after-hours tutoring, study sessions, etc.) - Work with Finance and HR teams to track program operating budget, event costs, and other program related expenses (e.g. hardware, training materials, transportation vouchers) - Serve as the external representative to our government partners to ensure funding, compliance, and reporting of program outcomes - Iterate and manage the implementation of routine improvements to student experience and functional and partner processes Support Enrollment Growth (25%) - Work with the Simplilearn Admissions team and government partners to deliver a top-notch, compliant admissions and enrollment process for potential students - Support Admissions and Marketing teams with the launch of new admissions/enrollment cycles, including co-designing processes and workflows to enable productive work between key stakeholders (including, but not limited to, Admissions Managers, Content Leads, and Solutions Engineers) QUALIFICATIONS We think you are a great candidate if you have: - 3+ years of experience directly managing programs (in high-touch customer-facing roles) in fast-paced higher education, startup, and/or technology industries - Extensive experience working with and supporting diverse, underrepresented and/or low-income populations. Proven success managing cross-functional projects and teams - Comfort operating in ambiguity and providing structure to blue-sky thoughts - Proven success organizing and driving projects/programs to and beyond stated targets High empathy and excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills - The ability to operate and execute independently, while collaborating with internal teams and leadership to get the support you need to drive success - Strong leadership and communication skills Education Requirements: - Bachelor (Preferable B.Tech) - MBA is Good to have.
