Simplify Healthcare - Business Analyst

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst who can independently drive business requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead a small team of analysts. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, stakeholder management capability, and prior experience in guiding or mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and translate business needs into clear functional specifications.

- Analyse business processes, identify gaps, and recommend data-driven solutions for process improvement.

- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflow diagrams, and impact analysis documents.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

- Oversee a small team of analysts; provide guidance, support, and performance feedback.

- Conduct data analysis (Excel/SQL/BI tools) to extract insights and support decision-making.

- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery.

- Support UAT planning, test case preparation, and issue resolution.

- Present findings, reports, and dashboards to senior management for strategic planning.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in a product, technology, or operations-driven environment.

- Mandatory team-handling experience (leading 4-7 analysts preferred).

- Strong understanding of business process mapping, documentation standards, and requirement-gathering practices.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and at least one analytics tool (SQL / Power BI / Tableau).

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
