Compliance Officer for a fund management company (Location: Connaught Place, New Delhi)

Silverdale India Ventures LLP is a financial services firm based in New Delhi provides investment support services to Singapore-based Silverdale Group. Silverdale manages several millions of dollars of awards-winning funds.

We seek talented Senior Manager for fund accounting and related companies, having knowledge of IFRS, and strong excel skills.

Job Responsibility:

- You would be provided the opportunity to undertake full end to end responsibility for the client reporting cycle:

- Computation of daily, weekly, and monthly shadow Net Asset Value of the Funds, and preparation of other quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports;

- Ensuring accurate capturing of trades (fixed income, equities, derivatives), incomes, expenditures, accruals, as well as subscriptions, redemptions and fund distributions;

- Settlement of trades, reconciliation of cash and securities;

- Financial reporting to the regulators, internal auditor, and management;

- Liaising with investment team, bankers, custodians, fund administrator, etc.;

- Complete accounting of fund management company and investment SPVs;

- Management of fund operations including ensuring accurate and timely execution & reporting, and risk management

Candidate Profile:

You should have/be:

- Ideally a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-5 years of experience OR have a master's degree in accountancy with 3-8 years of work experience fund administrator or as a financial controller role in the financial services industry.

- Excellent excel skills, including macros/VBA.

- Expert user of Tally

- Very good at Microsoft Word & Excel

- Fair understanding of pricing and valuation of various financial instruments.

- Strong understanding of fund accounting and be able to review and analyze NAVs of funds with their embedded expenses, fees and charges.

- Preference would be given to those with actual experience of NAV computation

- You should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be organized to meet deadlines and to attend client calls.

- You will be required to communicate directly with data sources and clients via email and calls.

- High levels of honesty & integrity, ability to lead a team and self-drive are essential.
