Sigmoid - Assistant Technical Lead/Technical Lead - GenAI

About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our dynamic team, specifically for an ATL/TL role. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and model performance tuning.

- You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into our products and services.

- Beyond individual contributions, you will play a key role in guiding and mentoring junior team members, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the scalability and robustness of our machine learning initiatives.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in Python for NLP and AI model development and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) principles and techniques.

- Solid foundation in Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and methodologies.

- Experience in Model Performance Tuning to optimize and enhance AI/NLP models.

- Demonstrated experience in scaling machine learning projects from proof-of-concept to production.

- Proven ability to design and implement scalable machine learning models and infrastructure.

- Strong background in Data Engineering principles, with experience in building robust data pipelines for ML

workflows.

- Experience with distributed computing frameworks for large-scale data processing and model training.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) models and their applications.

- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.

- Knowledge of Agentic Frameworks for building autonomous AI systems.

- Exposure to Full Stack development concepts for end-to-end application building.

- Skills in Prompt Engineering for effectively interacting with large language models.

- Experience with MLOps practices for deploying, monitoring, and managing machine learning models in production.

- Prior experience in a technical leadership or mentoring role.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 9 to 15 years of experience in data engineering, machine learning engineering, or a related role, with significant exposure to scaling machine learning projects.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
