We are looking for someone who has Sales & marketing experience as Manager in API - Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients world.


The recruiter is specifically looking for candidates from the Western region of India who can handle the West India market. While relocation to Hyderabad is not mandatory in the long term, candidates are expected to be open to staying in Hyderabad for at least 6 months to 1 year during the initial phase to understand the business. Post that, they may return to their base location if they wish - or continue in Hyderabad if preferred.


Role Specification:


- Candidate will be sitting in corporate office based out of Hyderabad Sultanpur.


- Initially 6 months to 1 year he should be in Hyderabad to understand the business and cross functional teams.


- Post that, he/she may return to their base location if they wish - or continue in Hyderabad if preferred.


- He will be managing the sales & Marketing of entire West India market.


- Western India - Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Goa


- Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in sales & Business Development (API).


About the Role:


The incumbent will plan, initiate, generate and establish the growth of the company's API & Intermediates (Western India) business explore new opportunities, handle sales, meet monthly & annual sales & collections as per the given targets. This role is expected to be accountable for revenue growth, revenue realization, profitable selling, and cost optimization. Enhance strong customers relations strategy to achieve the highest customer satisfaction and develop progressive business development strategies with an ambition to take the business to the next level.


Key Job Responsibilities:


- Expanding Sigachis API and intermediate customer base in India, with a focus on selling both APIs and Intermediates.


- Revenue growth in the domestic market for API and intermediates.


- Revenue realization - Be able to collect the money for sales made as per prescribed DSO.


- Focus on EBIDTA targets for sales: by offering products at price range


- Reduce the cost of sales & overheads.


- Directly responsible for the sales target achievement in the assigned geography/ territory.


- Business development for new client acquisition.


- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients by understanding their needs, challenges and result in continuous revenue generation.


- Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, networking events and professional meetings for sales achievement, pipeline building and customer relationship building


- Build a network of contacts in a territory and effectively leverage it for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and expand existing business.


- Responsible for accurate sales forecasting for the territory assigned & building pipeline.


- Gather market intelligence on customer organizations and industry activity and share relevant customer knowledge with the organization to ensure the opportunities are addressed.


- Identify new leads/prospects and convert them to business.


- Submission of quotations, Proforma Invoices & sales orders.


- Follow up with customers for orders/purchase orders/Payments.


- Planning of monthly orders & dispatches by co-ordination with Factory, logistic team & reporting Manager for timely dispatches.


- Evaluating the marketing strategy & keeping updated on market intelligence.


- Maintain discipline & healthy relationship with customers & all staff members of Sigachi.


Job Specification:


- 10 - 14+ years of experience in Sales / business development for pharmaceutical industry. (API / intermediate sales experience preferred) with knowledge and contacts In Indian pharma market.


- In-depth knowledge of the ROW, Domestic market, and a strong network within the industry.

- Technical knowledge of API and intermediates.


- Strong Sales acumen, Clear communication, Independent, Quick decision-making ability, Proficiency in CRM tools.


- Experience of identifying sales opportunities & generating leads.


- Willingness to learn new technologies/ applications and grow within the organization.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


- Strong Executive presence, ability to drive result orientation, customer focus & operational excellence.


Qualifications And Skills:


- Bachelors or masters degree in business, Marketing, Communications, M. Pharm / B. Pharma or related field is preferred.
