
Business Development Manager - IT Services
Job Description:
Purpose:
The role holder as BDM will be responsible for sales, order book, pre-sales and GTM strategies for Cloud and IT Services Portfolio for the region.
Main Priorities:
- Execute the strategy for cloud and IT services in alignment with the overall company objectives.
- Achieve revenue targets, profitability, and market share growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, including strategic partnerships and collaborations along with the account team.
- Work closely with the sales team to drive customer acquisition and expansion of service offerings.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on industry trends and best practices.
- Need to work out strategies for maximizing the business for segments/ industry verticals in consultation with management.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the cloud and IT services space.
- Drive the sales enablement process.
Key Outputs:
- Business Development, OB to Revenue Conversion, GTM
- To achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly order booking sales targets for the region for the BU.
- Defend the revenue with the existing accounts and ensure higher share of wallet and Business Development
- Collaborations with functional/ product teams and creating value proposition.
Relationships:
Internal:
- Regional Sales, Functional Heads, LoB/Product Team, Delivery Team, and Marketing.
External:
- Enterprise Accounts & OEM product partners.
- OB & Revenue Growth, expanding market share (GTM), Customer Acquisition
Qualifications:
- Engineering Graduate with MBA (Sales & Marketing) from reputed institute/ university preferably.
Skills/ Knowledge:
- Experience in direct selling one or more products & services in the area of Cloud technologies, IT Infrastructure domain.
- Capability to own and drive major/large bid engagements, closing deals, managing virtual teams.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth.
- Strong communication skills, people management, liasoning, relationship management, negotiation & business knowledge.
Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of solution selling experience in Cloud & IT Services Domain.
