Job Summary:
The Finance & Accounts Executive (MIS) will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of key financial reports, dashboards, and analyses for senior management. This is a critical role that provides the insights needed to monitor business performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance and accounting and is highly proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare & deliver regular MIS reports, including sales performance, production costs, profitability analysis, and financial forecasts.
- Develop & maintain dashboards to track KPIs for all departments.
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
- Identify significant variances and trends and present findings clearly and concisely to management.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Monitor and report on actual performance against budget, providing detailed variance analysis.
Process Improvement:
- Streamline data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Work with other departments to ensure consistent data input and reporting standards.
Ad-hoc Analysis:
- Respond to specific data requests from the CEO and other senior leaders, conducting ad-hoc analysis to support new projects, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CA or CMA certification is a significant advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a finance and accounts role, with a strong focus on MIS and financial analysis within the manufacturing sector.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, and Tally.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
