The Chief Business Manager (CBM) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving overall business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

The CBM will oversee strategic planning, revenue generation, market expansion, and cross-functional alignment to ensure sustainable business performance.

This role demands strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Growth:

- Define and execute the overall business strategy in alignment with organizational goals

- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across business verticals

- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to shape business direction

Revenue, P&L & Financial Management:

- Own P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization

- Ensure achievement of annual revenue targets and margin objectives

- Work closely with finance teams on financial planning, performance tracking, and risk management

Sales, Marketing & Customer Success Oversight:

- Provide strategic leadership to sales, marketing, and customer success teams

- Ensure strong sales pipelines, high conversion rates, and effective go-to-market execution

- Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and key client relationships

- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and long-term value creation

Operations & Process Excellence:

- Oversee business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance

- Improve internal processes, systems, and workflows to enhance productivity

- Leverage CRM, ERP, and business intelligence tools for data-driven decision-making

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor senior managers and team leaders across functions

- Foster a high-performance culture with accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

- Work closely with product, technology, finance, HR, and legal teams to align execution with strategy

Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management:

- Prepare and present business performance reports, strategic plans, and forecasts to the board and leadership

- Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management across business activities

- Represent the organization in key client meetings, industry forums, and strategic discussions

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strategic & Functional Skills:

- Strong expertise in business strategy, revenue growth, and P&L management

- Proven experience in scaling businesses, market entry, and commercial leadership

- Deep understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and financial management

- Proficiency with CRM tools, analytics platforms, and business reporting systems

Leadership & Behavioral Skills:

- Visionary leadership with strong execution capability

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
