The Chief Business Manager (CBM) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving overall business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
The CBM will oversee strategic planning, revenue generation, market expansion, and cross-functional alignment to ensure sustainable business performance.

Key Responsibilities:Business Strategy & Growth:- Define and execute the overall business strategy in alignment with organizational goals
- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across business verticals
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to shape business direction
Revenue, P&L & Financial Management:- Own P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
- Ensure achievement of annual revenue targets and margin objectives
- Work closely with finance teams on financial planning, performance tracking, and risk management
Sales, Marketing & Customer Success Oversight:- Provide strategic leadership to sales, marketing, and customer success teams
- Ensure strong sales pipelines, high conversion rates, and effective go-to-market execution
- Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and key client relationships
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and long-term value creation
Operations & Process Excellence:- Oversee business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance
- Improve internal processes, systems, and workflows to enhance productivity
- Leverage CRM, ERP, and business intelligence tools for data-driven decision-making
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:- Lead and mentor senior managers and team leaders across functions
- Foster a high-performance culture with accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with product, technology, finance, HR, and legal teams to align execution with strategy
Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management:- Prepare and present business performance reports, strategic plans, and forecasts to the board and leadership
- Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management across business activities
- Represent the organization in key client meetings, industry forums, and strategic discussions
