Shriram Life Insurance - Agency Development Manager

Role Description:

- This is a full-time, on-site role for an Agency Development Manager located in Ahmednagar.

- The Agency Development Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring insurance agents.

- Daily tasks include developing and executing strategies for business growth, driving sales targets, monitoring agent performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

- The manager will also work on building strong relationships with agents and clients and conducting market research to identify opportunities for expansion..

- Recruit, train, and develop insurance agents to build a productive sales team.

- Drive business growth through agency channel by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Monitor and support agents in generating new business opportunities.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance for improving productivity.

- Plan and execute local marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDAI regulations, and ethical business practices.

- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.

- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities.

- Motivate and engage agents through incentive programs and recognition initiatives.

- Coordinate with branch and regional teams for smooth business operations.

Required Skillsets:

- Strong knowledge of health insurance and related financial products (motor insurance, personal loans, credit cards preferred).

- Proven ability in agent recruitment, training, and business development.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Strong sales orientation with a focus on achieving targets.

- Good understanding of local market dynamics and customer preferences.

- Ability to motivate and manage a team of agents effectively.

- Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools for reporting and communication.
