Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead Business Development (BD) and Regulatory Affairs for our renewable energy portfolio. This role will focus on identifying growth opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships, and navigating regulatory frameworks to support project development and expansion.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Business Development :

- Identify and evaluate new opportunities in solar, wind, hybrid, and emerging renewable segments

- Lead bidding activities including tenders, auctions, and PPA negotiations

- Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies

- Build relationships with developers, DISCOMs, and key stakeholders

- Conduct commercial, financial, and risk analysis for new projects

2. Regulatory Affairs :

- Track and interpret policies, regulations, and tariff orders

- Liaise with regulatory authorities (CERC, SERCs, MNRE, etc.)

- Prepare and file petitions, responses, and regulatory submissions

- Advise internal teams on compliance and regulatory risks

- Analyze policy changes and assess their business impact

Key Requirements :

- 12+ years of experience in renewable energy / power sector

- Strong understanding of electricity regulations and bidding frameworks

- Experience in regulatory filings and stakeholder engagement

- Proven track record in business development and deal execution

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

- Degree in Engineering / Economics / Law / MBA preferred
