Role Overview: - We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to manage the operations and maintenance of our Dholakia Farm facilities in Surat. - The ideal candidate will ensure all physical assets, systems, and services are functioning efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general infrastructure. - Conduct regular inspections to assess facility conditions and identify maintenance needs. - Manage vendor contracts for cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and security services. - Monitor and operate building automation and security systems including access control and CCTV. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Develop and implement emergency response and disaster recovery plans. - Coordinate facility-related projects and liaise with contractors and service providers. - Prepare maintenance budgets and track expenses to ensure cost efficiency. - Lead and manage in-house maintenance staff and outsourced personnel. - Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for audits and inspections. Key Result Areas (KRA): - Timely resolution of maintenance issues with minimal downtime. - 100% compliance with safety and statutory regulations. - Effective vendor management and cost control. - High customer (internal stakeholder) satisfaction with facility services. - Proactive identification and mitigation of facility-related risks. - Execution of planned maintenance without disruptions to operations. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. - Good understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements. - Excellent vendor and contractor management skills. - Strong budgeting and cost optimization capabilities. - Ability to lead and supervise cross-functional teams. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in MS Office and facility management software. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Crisis management and emergency response planning.
