Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished, strategic, and growth-oriented CFO to lead financial planning, corporate strategy, investor relations, and M&A initiatives. The CFO will play a key leadership role, shaping how financial decisions support the long-term vision, scaling ambitions and financial health of Smile.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting across all business verticals.

- Analyze financial performance against indicators (costs, revenue, margins) and recommend corrective actions.

- Ensure timely management information, forecast accuracy, and scenario planning.

Financial Strategy & Management:

- Set and monitor financial strategy aligned with company growth goals.

- Manage capital structure, working capital, cash flow optimization, and risk management.

- Drive cost efficiency, profitability, and capital deployment.

Corporate Development & M&A:

- Identify, evaluate, and execute acquisition or investment opportunities.

- Lead due diligence, valuation modeling, negotiations, and integration.

- Explore strategic partnerships to augment capabilities or scale.

Investor & Stakeholder Relations:

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing investors and potential funders.

- Lead fundraising efforts, debt raises, and equity financing as required.

- Present financial performance to board, auditors, and institutional stakeholders with clarity and transparency.

Management Strategy & Leadership:

- Work closely with the MD and executive team to shape enterprise-level strategy.

- Participate in setting revenue growth plans, enter new geographies, product lines.

- Build and lead a strong finance organization; mentor and develop teams.

What We're Looking For:

- Experience: ~15+ years in senior financial leadership roles, ideally in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce or tech-enabled services.

- Deep know-how in FP&A, M&A, investor relations, corporate strategy.

- Strong track record of scaling financial operations, raising capital, doing deals end-to-end.

- Education credentials: CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent.

- Strong strategic thinking, excellent communication with ability to influence key stakeholders.

- Comfortable in fast-paced, changing environment; able to manage ambiguity, drive results.
