We are seeking a proactive and experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to independently manage and scale online store. This is a hands-on role where the selected candidate will take complete ownership of day-to-day e-commerce operations, from store management and order fulfillment to basic marketing and customer service.
The role is ideal for professionals with 3 years of practical experience in managing e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, in a startup or small business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage, and maintain the Shopify-based online store.
- Customize themes, manage payment gateway integrations, and ensure smooth site functionality.
- Ensure an intuitive and user-friendly shopping experience.
Product & Inventory Management:
- Create and update product listings, including descriptions, pricing, and images.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels in coordination with the workshop team.
Order Processing & Fulfillment:
- Manage end-to-end order processing, including payment verification.
- Oversee secure packaging and coordination with logistics partners for nationwide delivery.
Customer Support:
- Handle customer inquiries through email, chat, or phone.
- Resolve issues related to orders, returns, deliveries, and product information.
- Maintain a positive customer experience to drive repeat business.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Plan and execute basic promotional activities such as social media posts, email campaigns, and SEO improvements.
- Work within a limited marketing budget to drive traffic and sales.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track store performance and sales metrics using Shopify and related tools.
- Prepare basic reports highlighting performance, trends, and improvement areas.
General Operations:
- Ensure compliance with shipping and operational requirements.
- Maintain basic financial records such as invoices.
- Troubleshoot technical or operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals (social media, email marketing, SEO).
- Experience handling domestic logistics and courier partners.
- Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end operations.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using tools like Canva or similar for basic creatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive in a growing business environment.
