SHIV NADAR SCHOOL: In 2012, the Shiv Nadar Foundation made its foray into urban school education with a singular purpose - to breach and surpass the existing benchmarks in education, and to bring the finest learning experiences to students. Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon and Noida began operations in the academic year 2012-13 followed by Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad in 2015-16. Read more about us and our journey on www.shivnadarschool.edu.in Designation/Role Project Manager- Deputy CEO's Office Location: Noida Reports to Deputy CEO THE POSITION: The Shiv Nadar School Core Team, the corporate entity of the organization, seeks a dynamic Project Manager to take charge of creating comprehensive project plans, managing resource allocation, and ensuring the timely and within-budget delivery of projects. This pivotal role demands strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, adept project management skills, and the maturity to navigate effectively among diverse stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to drive key projects, ensuring successful implementation and contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: PROJECT MANAGEMENT: - Manage deputy CEO's projects and tasks. Showing efficiency through efficiently prioritizing tasks and calendar management. - Lead and execute strategic projects within the education sector, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives. - Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. - Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential challenges. DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS: - Bring technocentric approaches and digitalization to increase process efficiency. - Spearhead initiatives focused on leveraging technology and digital tools to improve overall process effectiveness. - Drive the implementation of data-driven strategies for informed decision-making and process optimization STRATEGIC SUPPORT: - Support Deputy CEO/Management in identifying, building, and managing stakeholder relationships, including representing Deputy CEO as needed, scheduling meetings, and implementing relationship management strategies. - Coordinate preparation of briefing materials, invitations, and event-related documents for high-level meetings and events. Collaborate with the communications team to ensure Deputy CEO/Management are well-prepared for internal and external events. - Offer strategic advice and insights to the Deputy CEO and management team regarding stakeholder relationship management, event preparation, and related areas. EDUCATION INDUSTRY EXPERTISE: - Leverage a strong background in the education industry to bring insights and innovative solutions to the organization. - Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to implement throughout decision making. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the school to ensure subject matter knowledge. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborative projects OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE: - Oversee and optimize operational processes within the education sector, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. - Implement and improve project management methodologies to enhance overall operational performance. - Work closely with leadership, including the Deputy CEO, to align projects with organizational strategies. - Provide regular updates and reports to leadership, highlighting project milestones, risks, and opportunities. EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: A Post Graduate degree from a recognized B school with over 2-5 years of relevant work experience in project manager roles with similar responsibilities as outlined in this job description. MUST HAVES: - A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is often required. - Relevant work experience is crucial wherein candidate is expected to have several years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for a Project Manager. Educational qualifications that emphasize communication, such as courses in business communication or public speaking, can be advantageous. - A solid educational background in analytical fields, such as mathematics or data analysis, can be beneficial. - Additional training in leadership and management can be beneficial. COMPETENCIES: - Creative thinker & strategist with an inclination towards problem solving. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. - Flexibility and openness in operating style to adapt to change and seize opportunities that come with shifts in priorities. - Ability to unlearn and relearn.
