Shiprocket - Senior Manager - Retail

Key Responsibilities:

1. Offline Store/Hub Expansion:

- Identify and evaluate strategic locations for new logistics hubs or offline stores, focusing on key markets for expansion.

- Oversee site selection, acquisition, and setup processes, ensuring they align with business needs and logistics capabilities.

- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and local teams to ensure seamless integration of new locations.

- Drive the strategic growth of our offline hubs, balancing market demand with operational capacity.

2. Team Building, Operational Oversight :

- Recruit, train, and lead a skilled team responsible for the successful operation of new logistics hubs.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within the team.

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of new offline logistics hubs, ensuring that they meet performance standards.

- Work closely with the logistics and operations teams to streamline processes, optimize workflow, and improve efficiency.

- Analyze hub performance regularly, using data to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance service delivery.

- Develop and manage budgets for store/hub expansion projects, ensuring effective use of resources.

- Monitor project costs, timelines, and staffing requirements to ensure efficient and timely launches.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in logistics, retail expansion, or a similar field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

- Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on creating high-performing teams.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple locations simultaneously.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
