Program Manager - Marketplace Ads
Join us to build and scale Shiprocket's Marketplace Ads vertical from zero to one across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, CRED, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart (and others). You'll own strategy, partnerships, operations, and P&L, turning marketplace media into a repeatable growth engine for D2C merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & P&L
Define the service lines (audits, launch, always-on, seasonal bursts), pricing, margin model, and SLAs.
Partner & Platform Enablement
Secure partner tiers with Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Myntra, quick-commerce media networks (Blinkit/Zepto/Instamart), and CRED.
Own API/manual workflows, marketing stream/AMC (where applicable), and reporting integrations.
Operational Playbook
Build SOPs for: account setup, catalog readiness, keyword/asin mapping, coupons/deals, inventory & price sync, retail readiness checks
Campaign & Performance Management
Setup buying/trading processes, daily pacing, keyword hygiene, budget reallocation, search term mining
Data & Measurement
Define a unified dashboard (ROAS, TACoS, share of shelf, CTR/CVR, wasted spend, OOS impact, review velocity).
Tooling & Automation
Evaluate and deploy feed ops (catalog sync), rule-based bidding, and anomaly alerts; coordinate with internal data teams
Cross-functional Leadership
Align with Sales, Onboarding, Finance, and Legal/Compliance (policy adherence).
Role
- 2 to 5 years in marketplace/media ops or performance marketing with hands-on experience on multiple retail media platforms (quick-commerce ads a strong plus).
- Proven 0 to 1 program building experience
- Solid grasp of retail fundamentals: retail readiness, ASIN/SKU hygiene, pricing/promo mechanics, inventory/OOS impact on ads.
- Analytical strength: Excel/Sheets advanced; bonus for SQL/Looker/Tableau. Comfortable defining and monitoring KPIs
- Strong vendor management & negotiation skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication; crisp decision logs and executive updates
- Familiarity with ad-fraud/brand-safety, policy compliance, and India-specific sale events (BBD, Prime Day, etc.).
