Key Responsibilities : 1. Strategic Planning and Alignment : - Lead annual/quarterly strategic planning process for the company working as the bridge between the COO and leadership team. - Determine key performance indicators for the company and have mechanisms set up to ensure they are regularly updated and reviewed. - Lead early stage ideas in the first six months working closely with the COO before it is handed over to the program teams post scale up. - Identify areas where existing processes need to be revamped in the organization and drive those changes with the line leaders 2. Project Management : - Oversee large cross- functional, organization- wide projects or initiatives; bring together important stakeholders and help drive decisions. - Oversee Research, benchmarking, data analysis and make recommendations to the leadership. - Drive continuous improvement of operational processes with a focus on simplification. 3. Direct assistance/support to the COO : - Work with leaders to set strategic priorities: Identify areas where COO should direct their focus as well as metrics for success. Revisit those metrics regularly and evaluate progress against them. - Orchestrate effective team meetings with agility and impact, with a focus on follow through. - Prepare for and follow up on meetings: Assist COO for upcoming meetings by ensuring they have all the information necessary to be productive and engaged. - Manage internal and external communications: Draft company newsletters, reports, pitch decks, speeches, town-halls and presentations. - Represent the COO when they are not available and provide a bridge for communication between the Sr. leadership teams and direct and indirect teams.
