About the Role:
As a Frontend Manager, you will play a critical role in designing and developing the frontend architecture of our SaaS platform. You will be responsible for crafting a fast, lightweight, and scalable UI that enhances user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize performance, and push the boundaries of what's possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and Implement Frontend Solutions: Design and develop highly efficient, scalable, and maintainable components, ensuring a smooth user experience across devices.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize performance to ensure the platform is lightweight and responsive under high traffic conditions.
Code Quality: Write clean, modular, and reusable code adhering to best practices in frontend development. Ensure comprehensive unit tests are in place for all functionalities.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that delight users.
Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and trends. Bring innovative ideas to the team to continuously improve the product and development processes.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and bottlenecks in the platform.
Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise to raise the technical bar within the team.
What We're Looking For:
Core Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development, with a focus on React.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proven track record of building high-performance, scalable web applications.
- Experience with component-based architecture and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Strong understanding of browser performance optimizations and best practices.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
- Proficiency in version control (GIT) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar for writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Strong sense of UI/UX design, with an eye for creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Micro-Frontend Architecture.
- Prior experience working with GraphQL.
- Understanding of WebSockets and real-time data streaming.
- Exposure to design systems and reusable component libraries.
