Key Responsibilities:

- Sales & Business Development: Lead sales strategy for Excavators, Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, Cranes, Compactors, Pavers, and Road Machinery. Develop business plans, identify new opportunities in infrastructure, mining, construction, and equipment rental, and achieve sales targets.

- Key Account Management: Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, infrastructure companies, and rental partners. Lead pricing, tender negotiations, and long-term supply agreements.

- Dealer & Channel Management: Appoint and support dealers, evaluate performance, and conduct training to enhance sales efficiency.

- Team Leadership: Lead Regional Managers, Sales Managers, and Product Specialists. Set KPIs, monitor field activities, and drive team performance.

- Product & Technical Coordination: Support technical queries, customer demos, field trials, and provide market feedback to R&D/Manufacturing.

- Marketing & Competition Strategy: Analyze competitors, develop counter-strategies, and execute marketing campaigns and product launches.

- Operations & After-Sales: Ensure timely delivery, installation, commissioning, and coordinate with service teams for warranty and AMC support.

- Financial & Commercial Management: Manage pricing, credit limits, payments, dealer claims, and cost control for profitability.

- Reporting & MIS: Prepare sales MIS, pipeline reports, market share analysis, and present business reviews to management.

- P&L Responsibility: Full P&L ownership for the division or region, driving profit growth and operational efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Construction equipment sales and project management

- Key account management & dealer/channel handling

- Team leadership and performance management

- Strategic planning, market analysis, and financial acumen

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Experience Required:

- Total Experience: 12-18+ years in construction equipment / heavy machinery sales

- Relevant Experience: 8-15 years with OEMs, contractors, rental operators, or infrastructure clients

- Team Handling: 10-40 sales, technical, and service personnel

- Geography Handling: Regional / Pan India
