The Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Product Manager who will own the strategy, design, and execution of AI-native features within Sharpsell. This role requires technical depth, curiosity, and a first-principles approach to building products powered by large language models, speech models, and other AI systems.

This is a maker role (Individual contributor role). You are expected to be hands-on with requirement detailing, prototyping and working with engineers to get the product out.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Conceptualization

- Identify opportunities where AI-native products/agents can create measurable value for enterprise sales teams.

- Translate ambiguous AI possibilities into clear, testable product features.

2. AI System Design & Evaluation

- Work with LLMs, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and multimodal models to design user experiences.

- Understand probabilistic nature of AI outputs and design guardrails, fallback mechanisms, and eval layers.

- Build frameworks to measure accuracy, latency, cost, and user satisfaction of AI features.

- Experiment with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and model selection while tracking trade-offs.

3. User-Centric Delivery

- Conduct discovery with end users (salespeople, managers, enterprise IT) to refine use cases.

- Prototype rapidly, run controlled experiments, and iterate based on quantitative + qualitative feedback.

- Balance AI impact with enterprise-grade trust, compliance, and governance.

4. Metrics & Continuous Learning

- Define and track metrics like model accuracy, evaluation pass rates, and adoption.

- Document learnings and build internal playbooks for repeatability.
