Job Title: Shared Services Head

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Shift Timing: Night Shift (8:00 PM to 5:00 AM IST), Monday to Friday (Work from Office)

Experience: 18+ Years

Leadership Experience: Minimum 7 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader with over 18 years of experience, including 7+ years in leadership roles within Shared Services, BPOs, or Global Capability Centers (GCCs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale operations (500+ FTEs), driving operational excellence, and aligning service delivery with global business objectives.

This role demands strong cross-functional expertise across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Support, HR, and IT, along with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, especially in U.S.-based organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Business Impact

- Serve as a strategic business partner to global leadership, translating goals into actionable execution across shared services.

- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and scalability across key functions including Intercompany Transfers, Customer Service, and Inventory Planning.

- Evaluate and implement process improvements that deliver measurable value to the business.

Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a large, diverse team with both direct and dotted-line reports.

- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

- Oversee full employee lifecycle management: goal setting, coaching, reviews, and succession planning.

- Champion employee engagement, development, and retention initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

- Collaborate closely with U.S.-based stakeholders through regular virtual meetings and occasional travel.

- Act as a key liaison between the India center and global teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.

Operations & Infrastructure Oversight

- Ensure robust infrastructure, technology, and facilities to support high-quality service delivery.

- Partner with IT to implement and support systems, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Maintain compliance with risk, data privacy, and security requirements in coordination with audit teams.

Planning & Governance

- Lead resource planning and demand forecasting in line with the project pipeline.

- Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

- Ensure timely and consistent delivery of business-critical services.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 18+ years in shared services, BPO, or GCC environments with a focus on cross-functional leadership.

- Leadership: Proven experience managing teams of 500+ FTEs.

- Skills: Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, procurement, HR, customer support, and IT operations.

- ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and automation tools.

- People Management: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-performing teams.

- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with global leadership, especially U.S.-based stakeholders.

2nd Round: Virtual interview with the CEO(s)
