Job Title: Corporate Quality Lead

Role Summary:
Shalimar Corp Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Quality Lead to spearhead the organizations quality strategy across all construction and infrastructure projects. This strategic leadership role demands a deep understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable of embedding a culture of quality throughout the organization and aligning quality initiatives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management Strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Establish and maintain quality governance frameworks, policies, and SOPs across all business units.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Director on quality-related matters.
Operational Excellence
- Lead QA/QC operations across all project phasesfrom design and procurement to execution and handover.
- Ensure strict compliance with BIS, ISO, NBC, RERA, and other statutory norms.
- Define and monitor quality KPIs for internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
Audit & Compliance
- Conduct internal audits, facilitate third-party inspections, and ensure timely non-conformance reporting.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for quality deviations.
- Maintain robust documentation and traceability for all quality processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, engineers, and regulatory bodies to ensure quality benchmarks are met.
- Drive vendor development and qualification processes based on quality performance.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and present quality dashboards, trend analyses, and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Utilize data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
Candidate Profile:
Education & Certifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech or specialized certifications in Quality Management preferred).
- Certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or Lean/Six Sigma are highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 20 years of experience in quality management within real estate, infrastructure, or large-scale construction.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, quality audits, and cross-functional leadership.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of quality systems, process documentation, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MIS tools, dashboard creation, and reporting systems.
Preferred Attributes:
- Exposure to green building standards like GRIHA or IGBC.
- Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to foster a quality-first mindset across diverse teams.
