Senior Manager - B2B
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Operations Management:
- Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including Pickup, Processing, Storage, and Delivery across multiple Distribution Centers (DCs).
- Oversee shipment, material, and inventory control, ensuring high stock accuracy and efficient inventory management.
- Ensure timely processing, dispatch, and delivery of B2B shipments in line with SLA and TAT commitments.
- Drive smooth operations through system-based processes, ensuring adherence to SOPs and online systems.
Logistics & Transportation:
- Manage intra-city and inter-city transportation operations, including route planning, vehicle planning, and tracking.
- Lead logistics and transportation strategy to optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels.
- Liaise and negotiate with transporters and logistics partners to achieve optimal commercial and service outcomes.
- Monitor transportation efficiency and conduct vendor performance evaluations on cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for shipment processing and warehouse operations.
- Oversee documentation accuracy, system updates, and DC-level record maintenance.
- Manage Hard Copy POD (Proof of Delivery) processes and ensure audit readiness at all times.
Customer Experience:
- Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability at the right place and right time.
- Act as a senior escalation point for key B2B clients and operational issues.
Financial & Business Management:
- Own P&L management for B2B operations, including cost control, budgeting, and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Drive productivity, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across all DCs.
People & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and manage operations across 10 Distribution Centers.
- Manage a workforce of 15 on-roll employees and ~150 off-roll resources, ensuring optimal manpower planning.
- Implement organizational policies, SOPs, and corporate guidelines at ground level.
- Drive capability building, performance management, and leadership development within the operations team.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in B2B logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain management
- Proven experience in multi-DC operations and large team handling
- Deep understanding of transportation management, vendor negotiation, and cost optimization
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience with system-driven operations, compliance, and audits
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
