Position: Lead Analyst Location: Pune - Kharadi (EON IT Park) Experience: 5+ years Education: MBA (Finance)/B.E./ M.COM, FRM Job Description : - Provide oversight and guidance to resolve data quality breaks from different banking domains and applications, focused on Risk Management use cases - Determine root cause analysis for data quality issue, using data analysis tools and leveraging tech and business teams as needed - Coordinate solution design and execution with relevant stakeholders such as technology team, stewards, data owners and application owners - Track remediation efforts and dependencies for relevant stakeholders, clear roadblocks and escalate as needed to ensure remediation efforts stay on track and achieve desired outcomes - Communicate status of remediation activities to relevant stakeholders and report progress - Manage a team of remediation analysts on root cause analysis and follow-ups with stakeholders - Coordinate activities with the head of data governance to ensure SLA Basic Skills Required : - Exceptional verbal and written communication - Experience managing communication between on-shore and off-shore teams and external stakeholders - Banking/financial services background - Risk management expertise, including fluency with terminology related to market risk, credit risk, operational risk and the modeling and reporting processes that support the various activities in the groups - Experience with risk reporting and a high level understanding of the regulatory reporting lifecycle and challenges - The ability to quickly absorb new and complex concepts, using self-study as well as internal resources - Understanding of data management, including ETL, data table structures, common data modeling concepts, data operations, etc. - Experience with applying data quality concepts to complex operational and analytical data sets, preferably using automated rules - A strong track record clearly illustrating the ability to manage multiple relationships with direct and indirect stakeholders - Experience with data management tools, such as Collibra, JIRA, IMT, etc. desired) - Strong problem solving skills, experience creating solutions and gaining buy-in/cooperation of external parties
