You will oversee HR operations, recruitment processes, HRMS management, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes while coordinating with existing team members responsible for specific HR sub-functions.
You will act as the central coordination point for HR, ensuring that processes are followed, SLAs are met, and the HR team works efficiently and transparently.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee payroll coordination, attendance management, leave management, and employee records.
- Ensure PF, ESIC, and statutory compliance in coordination with finance and compliance teams.

- Manage employee documentation including offer letters, appointment letters, NDAs, confirmations, and exit documents.
- Coordinate smooth monthly payroll closure with high accuracy.
Recruitment Process Management:
- Own the end-to-end hiring process (not necessarily sourcing every profile).
- Work closely with recruitment team members to define hiring SLAs, monitor pipelines, and ensure timely closures.
- Structure interviews, JD creation, and feedback cycles.
- Review and monitor hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and role closure timelines.
- Ensure replacement hiring happens within defined timelines (within notice periods).
HRMS (KEKA) Deployment & Administration:
- Take ownership of the HRMS system, ensuring proper configuration and usage across all modules (attendance, leave, payroll sync, documentation).
- Clean and update employee data, workflows, and approval structures.
- Conduct HRMS onboarding and training for internal teams.
- Ensure HR processes progressively move from manual to automated.
Employee Experience & Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances; ensure timely resolution.
- Implement structured onboarding and exit processes.
- Track employee feedback through regular check-ins and exit analysis.
- Coordinate team engagement activities, welfare initiatives, and communication rituals.
HR Reporting & Governance:
- Create and maintain weekly HR dashboards covering hiring, compliance, payroll, attendance, and admin KPIs.
- Conduct weekly HR team check-ins with recruitment, HR ops, and admin/IT team members.
- Maintain a monthly HR calendar for audits, payroll checkpoints, compliance submissions, and policy updates.
- Present reports and insights to the CEO for decision-making.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong command of HR operations and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with payroll coordination.
- Experience working with HRMS platforms (KEKA preferred).
- Strong documentation, drafting, and process-writing capabilities.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate across sub-teams.
- High ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Familiarity with hiring and recruitment cycles in tech/services companies.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in fast-paced agencies, IT services firms, tech consultancies, or product companies (50300 employees).
- Experience handling both HR operations and recruitment processes.
- Strong HRMS deployment background (any HRMS is acceptable; KEKA is a strong plus).
- Exposure to compliance workflows (PF, ESIC, payroll, attendance rules).
Education:
- MBA / PGDM in HR (preferred but not mandatory).
- Graduates with strong HR operations experience are also welcome.
What This Role Offers:
- Opportunity to build structure in a rapidly growing, high-performance organization.
- Ownership and autonomy to lead HR processes end-to-end.
- A strong runway for growth into a Senior HR Manager / HR Lead role.
