About Profile
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Head to lead our solar sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and achieve business objectives in the solar energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and business goals within the solar energy market.
- Lead and manage the solar sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Identify and prioritize target markets, segments, and potential customers for solar products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including solar project developers, EPC contractors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives and customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities
and threats within the solar industry.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to secure profitable business agreements.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Stay updated with advancements in solar technology, industry regulations, and government incentives to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in solar sales, business development, or a related role, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop actionable sales plans.
- Experience in managing sales teams in the solar energy industry.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, energy storage solutions, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and project finance concepts in the solar industry.

- Experience required - 7yrs to 10yrs
- Location - Uttarakhand/ Himachal Pradesh
