Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Service Delivery Leader to spearhead our Property & Casualty (P&C) Underwriting operations in Gurgaon/Noida. In this strategic leadership capacity, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex underwriting services, ensuring operational excellence, process efficiency, and high-quality output for our global insurance clients. You will act as the primary bridge between internal delivery teams and senior client stakeholders, driving transformation initiatives that optimize underwriting workflows and improve loss ratios. By fostering a culture of precision and innovation, you will directly influence the business outcomes of our clients, ensuring that underwriting operations are not only compliant but also serve as a competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving insurance landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct large-scale P&C underwriting operations by implementing robust delivery frameworks that ensure adherence to strict turnaround times and quality benchmarks for global insurance carriers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and client stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks and execute transformation roadmaps that enhance underwriting accuracy and operational throughput.

- Mentor and develop high-performing teams by fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence, ensuring the workforce remains adept at handling complex risk assessments.

- Manage financial performance and resource allocation for the delivery unit to ensure profitability and scalability in alignment with organizational growth targets.

- Drive the adoption of digital underwriting tools and automation initiatives to modernize legacy processes and improve the overall client experience.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale P&C underwriting operations, with a deep understanding of risk assessment, policy administration, and regulatory compliance across international markets.

- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex client relationships, utilizing exceptional communication and negotiation skills to resolve escalations and secure long-term partnerships.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate operational data into actionable business insights that drive efficiency and revenue growth.

- Exceptional leadership capabilities, including the ability to manage diverse, multi-location teams in a hybrid work environment while maintaining high levels of engagement and performance.

- A Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Insurance, Finance, or Business Management is highly preferred, complemented by a track record of leading large-scale organizational change.

Experience:

- 15 - 25 years of experience in P&C Underwriting and Service Delivery.
