Description:

Role Purpose:

Provide strategic leadership to the sales organization by developing and executing growth-oriented sales strategies, building high-value client relationships, expanding market presence, and driving consistent revenue performance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Define and execute sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve annual revenue targets

- Lead, mentor, and supervise sales managers and sales teams to ensure effective execution of sales programs

- Identify and acquire major clients and build long-term strategic relationships

- Research and develop new markets, territories, and growth opportunities

- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to refine sales approaches

- Track sales performance, KPIs, and forecasts to ensure target achievement

- Support team members in overcoming sales challenges and improving performance

- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events

- Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align go-to-market strategies

- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and quarterly performance reviews

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

- Achievement of annual and quarterly revenue and growth targets

- Expansion of customer base and entry into new markets and territories

- Sales pipeline strength, accuracy of forecasting, and conversion rates

- Performance and capability development of sales managers and teams

- Customer relationship strength and retention of key accounts

- Budget adherence and cost-effective sales operations

Qualifications:

- Master's/Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Experience Requirements:

- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory sales role

- Experience in B2B sales, enterprise accounts, or solution-based selling preferred

Skill Sets & Competencies:

- Strong sales strategy, planning, and execution capabilities

- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and people management skills

- Strong relationship-building and customer management expertise

- Data-driven approach to sales performance and decision-making

- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into action plans

- Strong negotiation, closing, and account expansion skills

- Time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities

- High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability
