Position Overview:
- We are looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on data observability and integration projects.
- The candidate will bridge business and technical teams, gather and analyze requirements, and ensure high-quality data pipelines, integrations, and monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
- Translate requirements into functional and technical user stories for the data engineering team.
- Work on data observability use cases - data quality, lineage, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
- Support data integration initiatives involving APIs, ETL pipelines, and real-time streaming solutions.
- Ensure data reliability, consistency, and accuracy across systems.
- Create data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and interface documentation.
- Work closely with architects, data engineers, and analysts to validate feasibility and solution design.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of professional experience, including at least 2+ years as Business Analyst.
- Proven experience in Data Observability tools (Monte Carlo, Databand, Bigeye, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of Data Integration / ETL processes (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Exposure to data analytics, data governance, or cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- SQL, Python, or API-based data systems experience.
- Knowledge of DataOps practices and automation.
- Background in telecom, finance, or enterprise data domains.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM I/II)
