
Job Title: SEO Analyst - E-commerce.
Location: Gurugram.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
About the Role:
- We are looking for a results-oriented SEO Analyst to lead and execute the organic search strategy for our e-commerce business across GCC (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman & Bahrain).
- The ideal candidate has proven experience in scaling SEO for large-traffic online stores, understands GCC buying behaviour, and can drive revenue-focused organic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a full-funnel SEO roadmap aligned with e-commerce growth KPIs (traffic, conversions, revenue, CAC efficiency).
- Conduct competitor benchmarking across GCC markets and identify keyword opportunities for high-intent commercial search terms.
On-Page Optimization:
- Optimize product/category pages, URL structure, metadata, headings, internal linking, schema markup, filters & faceted navigation.
- Collaborate with content teams to publish SEO-optimized landing pages, blogs, buying guides & FAQs targeting GCC audience keywords.
Technical SEO:
- Work with developers to improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, sitemaps, hreflang tags, canonical tags, mobile optimization.
- Conduct regular SEO audits via Screaming Frog, GSC, Semrush, Ahrefs, GA4 & fix priority issues.
Content & Localization:
- Lead keyword research for Arabic & English search markets.
- Ensure localized content relevance for UAE/KSA and country-specific product demand trends.
Off-Page & Authority Building:
- Create link-building strategies: regional media outreach, guest posts, influencer partnerships & marketplace backlinks.
- Monitor toxic links & disavow where required.
Performance & Analytics:
- Track rankings, organic conversions, bounce rate, cart-add %, session metrics & revenue attribution through GA4.
- Create weekly & monthly SEO performance reports for leadership teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-6+ years of SEO experience, minimum 2 years handling e-commerce websites.
- Strong command of GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and CMS platforms (Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce preferred).
- Experience with GCC-based markets & consumer search trends (Arabic keyword familiarity is a plus).
- Understanding of HTML, CSS basics, schema markup, and technical SEO implementation.
- Proven track record of increasing organic traffic, category rankings & organic revenue for online stores.
- Strong communication & cross-team coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience optimizing marketplaces (Amazon, Noon, Carrefour) - advantage.
- Arabic language understanding (bonus).
- Experience in paid-organic integration strategy (SEO + SEM).
