Role Overview:
As a Sr. Wealth Relationship Manager, youll own the client journey from qualified lead to onboarding through a structured 2-meeting process. Leads will be provided. Your job is to build trust, establish fit, guide the client through our process, and close onboarding - through intellectual, consultative communication (not pushy selling).
This is a high-accountability role for someone who can speak confidently with sophisticated investors and drive conversion with maturity and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own the conversion journey:
- Introduce the product credibly, build trust fast, and assess intent + fit based on client context and expectations.
- Present a guided portfolio review + financial planning using questionnaire inputs and internal team outputs/frameworks.
- Drive next steps and closure: follow-ups, objection handling, scope alignment, and conversion to onboarding.
Important: You are not expected to create investment strategy or do deep portfolio research yourself. Youll facilitate and communicate the outputs with high quality and conviction.
2. Conversion rigor + pipeline discipline:
- Maintain a clean pipeline (follow-ups, reminders, next steps, closure).
- Document conversations and action items diligently.
- Improve conversion by tightening storytelling, objection handling, and meeting quality.
3. Client experience and relationship ownership:
- Act as the single point of contact during conversion and onboarding.
- Ensure a premium experience: responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism.
- Build long-term relationship readiness (without overpromising).
- Focus on expanding wallet share from the customer over a period of time.
Success metrics:
- Leads to Conversion (Onboarding to the platform).
- Time-to-conversion (lead assigned to onboarded).
- Process quality (questionnaire completion, follow-up hygiene, no lead leakage).
- Client feedback (clarity, trust, experience quality).
- Expanding wallet share: growing the AUM from an existing customer.
Ideal candidate:
Experience:
- 7-10 years in relationship management, sales, business development, strategic alliance and partnership, channel sales, or client conversion in wealth, fintech, PMS/AIF distribution, private banking, broking, premium financial services, or across any industry.
- Comfortable working with affluent/sophisticated investors.
Must-have skills:
- Consultative, intellectual selling: can influence without being pushy.
- Communication excellence: structured, confident, clear in calls and meetings.
- Markets interest: genuinely curious about financial markets (enough to hold credible conversations).
- Objection handling + closure: can move clients from interested to committed.
- Process discipline: pipeline management, follow-ups, strong ownership mindset.
