Key Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Management & Client Engagement
- Manage an assigned portfolio of Business Banking clients through virtual channels (phone, email, video conferencing, digital platforms).
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand client business needs and provide tailored financial solutions, ensuring alignment with the bank's product suite.
- Proactively contact clients to discuss account performance, new opportunities, and potential risks.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve assigned business targets for deposits, trade finance, lending, and cross-sell products.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling banking products such as current accounts, loans, payment solutions, and digital services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Credit, Operations, Product, Compliance) to ensure smooth execution of client transactions.
- For SVRM: Support strategic sales campaigns, mentor junior VRMs on sales techniques, and manage key high-value clients.
3. Portfolio Management & Risk Control
- Monitor portfolio performance to ensure healthy credit and deposit growth.
- Identify early warning signals of potential risks or delinquency and take proactive actions.
- Ensure adherence to KYC/AML, regulatory, and compliance requirements for all client transactions.
- Maintain accurate and updated client data in CRM systems.
4. Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver superior customer service by responding promptly to client queries, complaints, and requests.
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement and high-quality interactions.
- Promote the use of digital banking channels for enhanced customer convenience and operational efficiency.
5. Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with Area Managers, Product Teams, and Credit Analysts to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.
- For SVRM: Act as a mentor and escalation point for VRMs, providing coaching and guidance to enhance team performance.
- Participate in regular reviews, strategy meetings, and performance discussions.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred).
- SVRM: 6-8 years of experience in Business/SME Banking or Relationship Management.
- VRM: 3-5 years of experience in Business/SME Banking or customer relationship roles.
- Strong understanding of business banking products, SME market dynamics, and financial analysis.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and service targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships effectively in a virtual or remote environment.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong understanding of banking compliance and risk management.
