Senior Vice President/Vice President - Operations - Apparel Manufacturing

Job Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader for the role of Sr. VP / VP Operations for a premium apparel manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing operations, driving operational excellence, efficiency, quality, and scalability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including production, planning, sourcing, quality control, and supply chain.

- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business growth objectives.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.) to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining compliance with global standards.

- Manage large-scale manufacturing units, ensuring optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machinery, materials).

- Collaborate with design, merchandising, and sales teams to align production plans with market demand.

- Strengthen vendor and supplier relationships for seamless procurement and supply chain efficiency.

- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and operational metrics to ensure profitability and performance targets are met.

- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operations teams across multiple locations.

- Ensure adherence to compliance, sustainability, and safety standards within manufacturing facilities.

Required Candidate Profile :

- Proven leadership experience in apparel/textile manufacturing operations at a senior level.

- Strong expertise in large-scale production management, preferably in premium or export-oriented apparel segments.

- Demonstrated ability to drive operational transformation and efficiency improvements.

- Deep understanding of garment manufacturing processes, supply chain, and quality standards.

- Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

- Exposure to global markets and compliance standards is highly preferred.

Education :

UG: Any Graduate (Engineering or Textile background preferred)
