Position Summary:
The VP will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the IT landscape, encompassing infrastructure, applications, data management, cybersecurity, and information security. This individual will drive operational improvements, implement best practices, and foster a culture of technological excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of systems and services.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and data centers.
- IT Service Management: Manage a global team of helpdesk technicians and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.
- Application Management: Ensure the effective functioning, maintenance, and support of all business-critical applications.
- Data Management: Oversee data governance, data quality, and data security initiatives to ensure the integrity and availability of information assets.
- Cybersecurity & Information Security: Develop, implement, and enforce robust cybersecurity and information security policies, procedures, and controls to protect organizational assets from threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop India and US based IT teams, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting continuous learning.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Manage the IT operational budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Operational Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, efficiency gains, and technological enhancements within IT operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that support business objectives.
- Support for Product & Innovation Teams: Provide operational IT support and infrastructure stability for development and testing environments, ensuring a reliable platform for innovation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong focus on operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience managing IT teams, preferably in a global or distributed environment.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, network architecture, cloud computing, and enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, industry-specific compliance).
- Experience in the financial services or mortgage industry is highly desirable.
