Senior Vice President - Transaction Services - Credit Operations - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

A leading global financial services institution is seeking a senior leader to head Transaction Services in India within its Credit & Capital Management function.

The role will own end-to-end credit operations across pre-approval and post-approval services, including loan administration, agency, collateral and document management.

The mandate covers India operations and supporting centres of excellence, with accountability for service delivery, transformation, controls, risk management, cost and stakeholder governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the India Transaction Services function across credit and lending operations, including loan administration, booking, servicing, drawdowns, rollovers, agency, collateral and document management.

- Own delivery against service levels, key performance indicators, operational risk and control objectives.

- Drive transformation, process simplification, automation and continuous improvement across the operating model.

- Manage country budgets, resource strategy, productivity and cost optimisation.

- Lead governance across business, risk, technology, transformation and other senior stakeholders.

- Build a high-performing leadership team with accountability for talent, succession, performance and engagement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 14 - 18 years of experience with extensive leadership experience in financial services operations.

- Deep expertise in credit and lending processes, transaction services and post-approval credit operations.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale operations with strong delivery, controls and risk accountability.

- Strong understanding of credit, operational and regulatory risk within a financial services environment.

- Experience leading transformation, process optimisation and technology-enabled operational change.

- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior Business, Risk and other stakeholders.
