Position: Senior Vice President - Project Management Office (PMO)

Role Overview:

A leading real estate and infrastructure group is seeking a seasoned professional to head its Project Management Office (PMO). This strategic leadership role involves driving operational excellence across large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The SVP - PMO will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, ensuring timely and quality project delivery, and aligning execution with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Operational Leadership

- Establish and lead the PMO function to standardize project delivery across geographies

- Define governance frameworks, reporting systems, and review mechanisms

- Align project execution with business strategy and growth plans

- Drive continuous improvement in delivery, risk management, and resource optimization

Project Delivery & Performance Management

- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of high-value real estate projects

- Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks

- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and sustainability standards

- Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Sales)

- Interface with contractors, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities

- Present project updates and performance insights to senior leadership

Team Leadership

- Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers and engineers

- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration

- Enable capability building and knowledge sharing across teams

Candidate Profile:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Construction; MBA or PMP preferred

- 15-20 years of experience in construction management within large-scale real estate or infrastructure organizations

- Proven track record of leading multiple high-value projects end-to-end

- Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera / MS Project), budgeting, and quality systems

- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills

- Experience working with senior leadership in matrix environments
