Senior Vice President Operations
Key Responsibilities :
1. Manufacturing Operations Leadership : - Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple plants to ensure achievement of production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational growth and business goals.
- Drive operational stability and continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
2. Multi-Plant Management : - Oversee performance and operational effectiveness of multiple manufacturing locations.
- Standardize processes, systems, and best practices across plants to achieve operational consistency.
- Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions to address operational gaps.
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among plant leadership teams.
3. Manufacturing Excellence & Lean Transformation : - Lead manufacturing excellence programs focused on productivity enhancement, waste reduction, and process optimization.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Establish a culture of operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce cycle times, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
4. Quality Management : - Ensure adherence to global quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives to minimize defects, rework, warranty claims, and customer complaints.
- Strengthen quality systems and foster a culture of zero-defect manufacturing.
- Collaborate with quality teams to implement preventive and corrective actions.
5. Digital Transformation & Industry 4.0 : - Lead digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, automation, smart manufacturing, and data analytics.
- Enhance operational visibility through digital dashboards, MES, ERP integration, and real-time performance monitoring.
- Identify and implement technology-driven productivity and efficiency improvements.
6. Financial & Business Performance : - Manage manufacturing budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
- Support revenue growth through improved manufacturing capabilities, capacity utilization, and operational agility.
- Monitor and improve key financial metrics including productivity, conversion costs, inventory levels, and profitability.
7. Supply Chain & Operational Coordination : - Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Sales teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Support capacity planning, production scheduling, and inventory optimization.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality and cost objectives.
8. People Leadership & Organizational Development : - Lead, mentor, and develop plant leadership and operations teams.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams.
9. Safety, Compliance & Sustainability : - Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and operational discipline.
- Drive sustainability initiatives focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible manufacturing practices.

Qualifications & Experience : - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA / Master's Degree in Operations Management preferred.
- 20+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations within leading automotive or automotive component organizations.
- Proven track record of managing multi-plant operations and large-scale manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience in manufacturing excellence, lean transformation, quality management, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational stability, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
