About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Vice President Insurance Operations (London Market) to lead and drive strategic operations for London and Lloyd's Market insurance services. This executive leadership role will be responsible for defining and executing the operational strategy, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and scalable delivery across global insurance engagements. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in London Market insurance operations, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of managing large-scale global operations while driving transformation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Leadership:

- Provide strategic leadership and overall accountability for London and Lloyd's Market insurance operations.

- Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.

- Drive operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Serve as the senior escalation point for critical client, operational, and regulatory matters.

End-to-End Policy Lifecycle Management:

- Lead governance across the complete policy lifecycle, including Underwriting Support, Policy Binding, Post-Bind Operations, Policy Administration, Accounting & Settlement, Claims Support, Renewals, and Reporting.

- Ensure compliance with London Market practices, Lloyd's standards, and contractual obligations.

- Oversee policy issuance, endorsements, bordereaux processing, invoicing, and operational decision-making.

Client Delivery & Operational Excellence:

- Own service delivery across multiple client engagements.

- Manage SLAs, KPIs, turnaround time, productivity, quality, and accuracy.

- Lead governance meetings, business reviews, and executive client interactions.

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, value creation, and business expansion.

- Build strong, long-term relationships with global clients and stakeholders.

Transformation, Technology & Analytics:

- Drive digital transformation through process standardization, automation, and technology adoption.

- Partner with Technology and Analytics teams to implement scalable operating models.

- Enhance reporting capabilities and promote data-driven decision-making.

- Support continuous innovation across insurance operations.

Risk, Controls & Compliance:

- Ensure strong operational governance, internal controls, and audit readiness.

- Drive compliance with regulatory, client, and organizational requirements.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and business risks.

People Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop senior leaders and high-performing teams.

- Build succession plans and leadership capability across the organization.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and client excellence.

- Partner closely with global Delivery, Technology, Finance, Analytics, and HR teams.

Required Experience:

- 20+ years of experience in Insurance Operations, with significant exposure to the London Market and Lloyd's insurance.

- Proven experience leading large-scale global insurance operations and transformation initiatives.

- Strong understanding of the complete policy administration lifecycle.

- Experience managing enterprise-level client relationships and executive stakeholders.

- Demonstrated success in operational strategy, governance, and organizational leadership.
