Senior Vice President - Impact Investment - IIM

We are partnering with a leading global impact investment platform focused on scaling sustainable finance solutions across emerging markets. The organization manages diversified investment platforms focused on sustainable and climate-linked opportunities across emerging markets, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy and inclusive growth sectors.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced investment professional to help build and scale high-impact debt and equity platforms across Asia and other emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Partner closely with senior leadership to expand and strengthen impact-focused investment businesses and fund platforms.

- Lead fund structuring initiatives, including market research, strategy design, and innovative investment solutions.

- Drive origination and relationship management across borrowers, portfolio companies, financial institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders.

- Oversee the full investment lifecycle, including due diligence, deployment, portfolio management, and monitoring.

- Support the growth of the organization's equity investment and fund management capabilities.

- Engage with institutional investors, DFIs, foundations, and global capital providers as part of fundraising and strategic partnerships.

- Develop investment collateral, including pitch materials, investment notes, and fundraising documentation.

Candidate Profile :

We are looking for a senior investment leader with deep expertise in structured finance, renewable energy, and emerging market investing, along with a strong orientation toward business development and relationship management.

Experience & Qualifications :

- 15-20+ years of experience across debt and/or equity investing within the SME, infrastructure, climate, or renewable energy ecosystem.

- Strong experience in renewable energy financing, particularly commercial & industrial solar and/or distributed energy solutions.

- Demonstrated experience in corporate banking, structured finance, private credit, alternative lending, or impact investing.

- Prior exposure to multi-country lending and investing across emerging markets is highly preferred.

- Strong capabilities in deal structuring, credit analysis, financial modelling, and investment evaluation.

- MBA from IIM Ahmedabad / Bangalore / Calcutta is mandatory.

- Undergraduate degree in Engineering preferred.
