Role Overview
The Senior Vice President - HR & IR (Chemical Manufacturing) will lead the human resources and industrial relations functions, ensuring strategic HR alignment with business objectives. The role demands a seasoned HR leader with expertise in talent management, industrial relations, organizational development, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the Fertilizer Division's business goals.
- Partner with business leaders to drive a high-performance culture.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives.
Talent Management & Organizational Development
- Drive talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Oversee training programs to enhance skills and productivity.
- Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Relations
- Manage union relationships and negotiations to ensure industrial harmony.
- Develop proactive IR strategies to minimize labor disputes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee compensation & benefits strategy to attract and retain talent.
- Ensure HR policies are compliant with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Leverage HR analytics for data-driven decision-making.
Culture & Change Management
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to align with Coromandel's values.
- Lead change management programs to support business growth.
- Champion digital HR transformation to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 25+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, Chemical, fertilizers, or related industries.
- Skills: Strong expertise in industrial relations, talent management, and HR strategy.
- Competencies: Business acumen, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
