Role Overview:
The Sr VP - Growth / CGO will be responsible for spearheading the company's growth initiatives, driving revenue generation, and expanding market share. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies, overseeing sales and marketing functions, and managing the P&L for key business units. The CGO will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact on business outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of scaling businesses and building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, focusing on market expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Lead and manage the sales, marketing, and business development teams, providing strategic direction and ensuring effective execution of growth initiatives.
- Oversee the P&L for key business units, monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Drive the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and acquire new customers.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions, to accelerate growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, to drive business development and market penetration.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the growth team.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful growth strategies that drive revenue and market share.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating high-performing sales, marketing, and business development teams.
- Strong P&L management experience, with a track record of achieving financial targets and improving profitability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the fintech industry, including payment solutions, digital marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
