Role Overview:

- The Finance Head / SVP Finance will be the chief financial leader responsible for the financial strategy, planning, and governance of a fast-growing, owner-driven real estate organization.


- This role demands exceptional expertise in managing the IPO process, driving fundraising, executing capital structuring, and ensuring robust financial controls across large-scale real estate projects.


- The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to the promoter/leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Fundraising:

- IPO Management: Lead the entire end-to-end IPO preparation and execution, including rigorous documentation, compliance checks, and strategic coordination with investment bankers, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies (SEBI, Stock Exchanges).

- Fundraising & Capital Strategy: Formulate and drive comprehensive fundraising strategies (equity, debt, structured finance) to secure capital for business expansion, land acquisition, and project development.

- Investor Relations: Manage and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, rating agencies, and regulatory authorities.

- Strategic Insight: Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to the promoter/leadership on major business decisions, project feasibility evaluation, and optimal capital allocation.

2. Financial Planning & Governance:

- FP&A Oversight: Oversee and direct all financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and long-term financial modelling tailored to the real estate sector.

- Cash Flow & Working Capital: Closely monitor and manage organizational cash flows, working capital cycles, and overall project financial health across the entire portfolio to optimize liquidity.

- Governance & Compliance: Ensure strong corporate governance, implement robust risk management protocols, maintain strict regulatory compliance, and enforce strong internal financial controls (IFC) across all financial activities.

3. Team Leadership & Operations:

- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and scale the finance department, developing a high-performance team capable of supporting organizational growth and complex financial transactions.

- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong working relationships and effective communication with the promoter/owner group, ensuring financial transparency and alignment on strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

Experience: 14-19 years of progressive finance leadership experience.

Industry Preference: Mandatory preference for candidates with experience in the Real Estate sector.

IPO Experience: Proven, mandatory experience in leading or significantly handling an IPO process for a mid- to large-scale organization.

Fundraising: Strong track record in debt and equity fundraising, complex financial strategy, and capital structuring.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: CA (Chartered Accountant) / MBA Finance from a reputed institution is highly preferred.

Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, high integrity, strategic mindset, and proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, owner-driven environment.
